About Sue Ravazollo
Sue's
first experience with yoga occurred during a body movement practicum in
the Kinesiology Program at McMaster University. It was a great discovery
for a former gymnast seeking ways to enrich her body awareness. The process
of becoming immersed in the physical nature of yoga has opened the door
for Sue to the ancient and rich tradition that is yogic philosophy as
a whole.
With the guidance of teachers such as David Swenson, Darby and Cynthia
Funk, and many others fortunate enough to have studied with Sri K. Pattabhi
Jois, the forms of Ashtanga and Hatha yoga are Sue's foundations for her
practice and teaching.
The amazement and wonder that yoga evokes in Sue have inspired her to
share that experience with others. The path to self-discovery is different
for each individual, and with compassion and joy, Sue wishes to share
her love of this super cool practice of yoga with anyone who will listen,
so that they may acquire a similar love of the tradition.
