with Karen Cove $225.00 + hst

Sunday 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. 1:30 p.m. – 4p.m.
This course will focus on both self-practice and the art of refining
communication on how to teach the more advanced and challenging arm and
hand balances. Tuning into the anatomical details of the shoulder girdle,
arms, wrists and hands.
Together we will learn to balance the weight of our bodies on our hands,
while learning techniques for doing this safely. We will encourage our
students to feel just as confident while standing on their hands as on
their two feet. We will fly upside down to the sky!

About Karen Cove
"Over
and over again, I witness how yoga enhances our own natural healing abilities.
By practicing, we learn to listen, we become more aware, and we learn
how to respond. We begin to breathe easier, become comfortable in our
skin, live more peacefully, and deepen our connection to the cosmos."
Karen combines an advanced understanding of anatomy and sequencing with
a deep compassion for her students. Her classes are designed with precision
and attention to detail, but her immense love of yoga creates an environment
that is fun and welcoming.
Karen completed her first yoga teacher training at the Yoga Sanctuary
and has gone on to complete more teacher training with teachers such as
Hart Lazer. She has been assisting Yoga Sanctuary co-director Cynthia
Funk with the College Studio's teacher training for five years. She is
part of the faculty for the Evolving Spirit 250 Hour Teacher Training
at the Danforth and Oakville Campuses as well as the 300 Hour Advanced
Teacher Training.
