Student Guidelines and Etiquette• No cell phones, pagers, shoes or food in the main room. • Open containers of water or other beverages without a lid, are not permitted in the studios. • Arrive a few minutes early, as being late is disruptive to the class. Start stretching or meditation in silence. • Do not enter or leave the classroom during meditation or savasana. • Bring or buy your own yoga mat for hygienic reasons. • Please do not wear perfume, cologne or any scents as other people may have allergies or sensitivities. • Yoga is not a competitive practice, so please pay attention to yourself and not your fellow student. • Accept and be gentle with yourself. Yoga is open to everyone at all levels. Do what you can do, without judgment. • Please advise the teacher of any injury, medical condition or limitations before the class starts. ~ Namaste ~ Notice to All Students New Personal Account - Mind Body Online: As of Monday June 25, 2007 we will be collecting your class passes, memberships and gift cards to create a personal account for you in our Mind Body Online system. You will no longer be required to carry around class cards as we will have a record of your purchase and we will deduct the passes as you use them. If you have not filled in a waiver or questionnaire recently, please do so to ensure we have you in our system. This will allow us to better serve you in the future. At a later date you will be given a Yoga Sanctuary Swipe card to help you register for classes. You will have until December 24, 2007 to trade in/transfer your paper passes and gift certificates onto a new account card. After December 24, 2007 all paper class passes and paper gift certificates will expire. We will be implementing a one year expiry on class passes purchased on the new system. New Daily Procedures: Procedure for students WITHOUT a membership card: You must see reception before entering class to pay or you will not be permitted to practice. Please give our staff a moment to look up your account and give you a laminated class pass to place beside your mat to be collected by the teacher. This pass is not to leave the studio. New Policy Concerning Late Arrival for Classes: We will no longer permit anyone into a class any later
than 10 minutes after the scheduled start time. It is disruptive
and disrespectful to the teacher and students to be late so we strongly
suggest arriving 15 minutes early to class. Some studios do not permit
any latecomers. Please be courteous and respect our policy. ~ The Yoga Sanctuary
