Teachers Senem Sen
Through practice and teaching, she realized that every body has pains and limitations, only in different forms than hers. Yoga is an inspiration to her because she has personally experienced the deep transformative qualities of the practice. The possibility to transform the negative into a positive is what she would like to share with her students first and foremost. Senem teaches from a compassionate place of acknowledging the fundamentals in yoga (breathing and cultivating healthy spinal movement), and the challenges that sometimes arise in both. As long as we can accept and love where we are, whether on or off the mat, we are doing yoga. Her training to date includes the 250-hour teacher training at the Yoga Sanctuary along with Prenatal training and numerous anatomy-focused study sessions with Cat Kajary. Other personal interests include chanting and yoga philosophy. Senem wishes to express gratitude to her major influences Cynthia Funk, Karusia Wroblewski, Cathy Keenan, Lauren Anastasi and Cat Kajary. |
