Recipes from Orlando's Living Kitchen ~ September 2009 Recipe

You can use this sauce on a Raw Spaghetti or a Raw Lasagna with your favourite Pesto Sauce Recipe or on a Raw Pizza Crust and for those people who are still into cooking you can even heat this up for a little while and then throw it on your pasta. If you really want to make me a happy camper you will refrain from the cooking part...LOL.

Tomato Marinara Sauce - Raw

3 Medium Tomatoes
1 cup Sun-dried Tomatoes (soak to soften, then drained)
1/2 Red Pepper
2 tbsp fresh chopped Onion
1 Garlic Clove
2 tbsp Olive Oil
4 Dates (soak to soften, then drained)
1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
1 tsp Dried Basil
1 tsp Salt

1 Stalk of chopped Celery
1/2 tsp each of Marjoram, Thyme and Dried Cayenne

1. Process all ingredients together in a food processor until desired consistency.
