Cake (Low Fat) Preheat oven to 350F. Spray 8 inch square pan with vegetable oil. 2 cups
flour 1. Sift flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, cloves, nutmeg into a mixing bowl. 2. Mix eggs, vanilla, applesauce, juice and mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Fold in apples and pour into prepared pan. If the batter seems too dry, I have been known to add an extra tablespoon of apple sauce or pour a bit more apple juice into the batter. I like the cake moist. And I've been known to add extra apples to the batter. 3. Bake for 30-40 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. If baking in a bundt pan, bake for approximately 1 1/2 hours.
