Feast, Meditation Workshop and Kirtan
The
basic problem in our search for happiness is that
our sources of pleasure are limited. Mantra provides
means by which we can expand our pleasure beyond
our present limitations.
ROAR SOUND is a Mantra Meditation Workshop designed
to get you in touch with a pleasure principle
that operates beyond the bounds of time and space
and emanates from the very innermost part of our
being.
Sacred
chants of the east sung to enchanting melodies
to soothe your heart and soul and lift you to
another dimension beyond time and space. Empower
yourself with ultimate tools for self development
and stress management.
A
Supremely powerful show to leave you fearless,
insights from an urban mystic monk, beats, mantras,
jammin' and vegetarian Xtreme. Bring an instrument,
open mind and empty stomach for a night you'll
never forget. Be there!

Seva
Seva
is the spiritual practice of selfless service. In
an attitude of gratitude for all the abundance we
have in our lives, it is always good to remember
that there are others who have more need than we
do. With awareness and compassion, we can practice
seva or service, by reaching out to them with our
time, our gifts, our financial support and even
our practice.
The
ways to achieve seva are endless. You can live your
seva in an internal way by participating in a restorative
class instead of your usual vigorous vinyasa or
ashtanga practice, or by participating in the Yoga
in Motion fundraiser for Breast Cancer or carrying
a Kleen Kanteen rather than drinking bottled water.
You can reach out to individuals and to a world
with needs in ways that we can all strive to meet.
Let
us serve ourselves, each other and the planet and
create new abundance. |

"OM" Work
We
all work so diligently on our mats to achieve balance,
breathe deeper and calm our minds. I know that we
are doing this on a daily basis off the mat as well.
The purpose of Yoga "Om" Work is to add
some interesting little awareness into our practice
all month long!
This
month your "Om" Work is to use your non-dominant
hand to open the car door, apartment or house door,
or any other door that you need to open! Be conscious
of how you feel when you are doing this exercise
and how your awareness changes.
