and Vinyasa Flow
with Gina Gallo, Brian Wall & Abdull-Ji
Saturday, May 3 ~ 7:30-9:30pm
The Yoga Sanctuary @ Danforth ~ $40 + GST

Brian WallThe intention behind the Healing Music and Yoga Project is to create a positive, supportive, healing environment that allows yoga students to go more deeply into their practice. Subtle interaction between the musicians and the instructor provides a spontaneous and smooth flow of asanas to unfold. The participants become one harmonious unit as music and movement mirror and inspire each other.

Living Your Joy Weekend
with Wade Imre Morissette
Fri June 6 to Sun June 8
$220+gst

WadeWade has been practicing and teaching yoga for 13 years. He has completed Iyengar, Classical Ashtanga and Ashtanga-Vinyasa yoga teacher training. He has studied Vinyasa, Viniyoga, Anusara, and Kriya yoga, as well as zazen, Vedic Chanting, and active movement and sound meditations with some of the best-known teachers in Canada, North America, and India. He is currently working on his first book, Living Your Joy, and planning a series of motivational seminars.

During one of Wade's many visits to India, he began to travel on the path of Devotional Yoga and started chanting, a process that stills the mind, dissolves worries, and opens the heart. "It's a natural way to tune into the frequency of love," says Wade.

He realized he could combine his two passions - yoga and music - to create his own original blend of indie rock/pop music with Sanskrit and English chants. "My first concerts were in India, and people would come up to me and say that my music touched their hearts. I decided to take my music to different yoga studios across the world." Wade explains.

The Positive Force Yoga Alignment System Weekend Workshop with Eoin Finn
$275 plus gst
Earlybird Special ~ $240 plus gst before May 10th

Eoin FinnJoin Eoin as he returns for this weekend workshop! The Positive Force Yoga Alignment System course is excellent for all levels of yoga practitioners, interested in alignment based yoga. Beginners as well as existing yoga students will easily and effectively understand the underlying patterns within yoga poses, while yoga teachers will find exciting ways of presenting yoga alignment.

In the same way, in this Positive Force Yoga System course we will see that most yoga poses can be made up of: 7 basic foot patterns, 3 wrist positions, 3 positions of the torso, 4 positions of the pelvis, 3 ankle positions and 6 fundamental arms patterns.

If yoga practitioners can learn these basic patterns as building blocks for all yoga poses from the most complex to the most basic, then suddenly Yoga poses will become more easy to understand. The method is to teach yoga practitioners basic anatomical reference points. We can then line these reference points in the body to create basic patterns. If the student can maintain that alignment of all the reference points and not "go around" them in order to go deeper into the pose, then the yoga experience will become safer, more therapeutic, more fun and will facilitate better 'energy flow'.

It is my hope that everyone who practices in our yoga class can eventually do this course. Suitable for all levels from beginner yogis to yoga teachers.

Make Today a Breeze Not a Battle

daffodilsNever fight. Nothing is worth fighting for.

Wisdom never fights, it waits patiently, speaks positively, releases easily, sees benefit in everything and envisions a future of abundance...knowing that all needs will be met at the right moment, the the right way.

If you think life is a struggle you will always be struggling, if you think life is a breeze, your attitudes and actions will convey lightness and easiness and that's what attracts everything you need, and much more.

Make today and breeze not a battle.
