Teachers Elisa Pen
Yoga slowly became the focal point in her life and dance was the influence. She started taking classes at The Yoga Sanctuary and after completing her Yoga Teacher Training she began teaching at the Yoga Sanctuary, one class a week, on Sundays. The rest manifested from there. She is continually thankful to Kimberley and Cynthia for taking her onboard to start her teaching career and for their continuing support. She has now been teaching at The Yoga Sanctuary for five years. Her practice consists of a home practice (which includes Vipassana meditation), Mysore and Mitzvah classes and she is always participating in workshops, courses and classes with people she feels are essential and supportive of her growth on the spiritual path. She is currently undertaking a new yoga training with Xenia Splawinski, focusing more on the esoteric aspects of yoga. For fun, she loves taking care of other people's children and feels they often teach her more about yoga then any book or asana. "Do not believe, just because wise men say
so. Do not believe, just because it has always been that way. Do not believe,
just because others may believe so. Examine and experience yourself!" Good luck on this wild journey everyone. |
