Pippa has taught Theatre movement at Ryerson University for the last six years, training actors physically through a unique combination of yoga, Pilates, dance and Laban practices. She has taught her own fusion of yoga and Pilates in yoga studios and to private clients throughout Toronto for the last eight years. She is particularly interested in Pilates as a means of re-patterning the body; finding a fresh, healthy alignment through a new and deeper physical consciousness. As an actor Pippa has performed leading roles at the Stratford and Shaw Festivals and in theatres across the country. She most recently returned from an international tour of Margaret Atwood’s Penelopead. She also creates original movement theatre work with her own company “Theatre Petitjeu”. Pippa applies her sense of choreography, her love of music and her understanding of the healing possibilities of the human voice to her classes creating a warm, positive and inspiring approach to the work. |
