Thursday evening, classes were canceled for a special book launch of ‘Stories From the Yogic Heart,’ an anthology of stories written by such renown practitioners as Sting, Russell Simmons, and Mariel Hemingway. All of the book’s 27 contributors credit yoga for changing their lives, with the book edited and compiled by Lisa Miriam Cherry.

Adaptation Charity Book Launch & Gala

A Decade of Struggle–and Success

Last Saturday marked the 10th Anniversary of The Yoga Sanctuary at the College location. From past managers to current teachers, friends and family, as well as the most important group of all–the students–the studio was packed for a killer party that lasted until 2:00 AM.

David Newman at TYS

Yoga in Motion — Congrats to Team Kikhasana!

On Sunday May the 3rd, The Yoga Sanctuary played host to a number of visitors from the Hare Krishna temple. Members of the 2008-2009 Yoga Teacher Training class were on hand to enjoy the dancing, food and festivities.
