Ann Lamont

Ann LamontI feel yoga is about developing a relationship with yourself. It is about uncovering your true nature of loving kindness and wisdom; about finding inner stillness and peace. I believe bodies love to move and become stronger and more flexible with a yoga practice. With mindful awareness of breath and alignment and with focus and determination, we can reach beyond our perceived limitations. This allows us to grow and heal on all levels, and move towards being the person we want to be. I always endeavour to approach my classes with compassion and humour.

I am fascinated with the human body. I have been in the fitness field for 20 years as a personal trainer and I teach many different classes - pilates, core conditioning, swiss ball, spinning. I fell in love with yoga in 2004, took my teacher training at Octopus Garden and have been teaching ever since. I would like to thank my many students and teachers, especially Myriam Khouzam, Pat Harada-Linfoot and Scott Davis.
